Green Power Energy Conversion Project
Description:
Be as specific as possible and include quantities when applicable (e.g. 5 security cameras, 10 laptop carts).
Start with ten of the buildings in Chelsea with flat roofs to begin installation of 10 solar panels or 10 mini wind powered fans for minor electrical processes, grid lines, and outlets. Install mini solar panels to run all parking meters, run all bus stops, run well lit bike and walking lanes, green park lighting, etc.
Need:
Please describe why this project is important and who it will serve primarily
The need is to reduce the greater dependency on natural gas and electrical grid. Remember rolling black outs during the summer or any other season across the city. The need will serve the residents, visitors, transients, business owners, and other professionals of District 3. As population grows, so does the impact and demand for continuous flowing energy. As rent increases, it will keep utilities very affordable.
