Mommy and Me/ Early Childhood Development classes
Be as specific as possible and include quantities when applicable (e.g. 5 security cameras, 10 laptop carts).
Invest in the creation of early childhood development classes in NYC public libraries. Such as mommy and me: storytelling, parenting and music classes for babies and toddlers. With a focus on South Ozone park area.
Please describe why this project is important and who it will serve primarily
This project is important because studies demonstrate that early childhood development is important. Providing classes that parents can attend with their babies will help change the culture of education in our community. Making story-time with babies a common practice and tapping into the way music can help with brain development. This will help increase literacy in our community and prepare childern for preschool.
